This brass captain inkwell is representative of antique inkwells used by a ship's captain. With the moving swivel lid, the inkwell would hold the ink inside the inkwell while the Captain would be out enduring the rough waves of the ocean.
The inkwell measures 3 ¼" at the base of the ink well, and 4" tall, from the base of the inkwell to the swivel top. |
